Played few hours with a gnomish sorcerer (was thinking about a monk too but I wanted to discover spell effects). Bad impression of NWN from the past was forgotten a bit, but the more I played, the more they were waking up.
Positives:
+ 3rd D&D
+ stylish interface
...and that's all of I could think I'm afraid.
Now down to the negatives:
- engine and graphics look quite...artificial to me. I don't have a feeling that I'm *in* the game, as I do in Gothic for example. Probably it's the case of regular ongoing elements, closed areas and lack of interaction with the environment (no swimming, jumping, etc.). That's why I prefer games in 2d with good graphics (eg. Baldur's Gate) than 3d with cheap graphics - 2d with lesser effort can look prettier and realistic with being more complex simultaneously.
- from Wikipedia: "The game was based on the concept of building an internet-like model for a massively multiplayer game, allowing the end users to host the server" and thus, it looks like a poor MMORPG for singles
My first serious battle in NWN. Finally won after many attempts and this was one (of not many) times I actually really enjoyed the game.
- linear and boring plot, limited freedom of wandering (still BG1 and Gothic are masters here, some could say that Morrowind, but Morrowind's dull world's a fail)
- don't know why but I couldn't identify items despite using 'identification' spell in every possible way

Dragon Age? Mass Effect?
Tam były dopiero dobre i ciekawe scenariusze.
Trailer z gameplaya a gameplay = często zupełnie inne wrażenia.
