[food] Homemade muesli ist krieg!

[soak before eating]
milk
oatmeal
wheat/oat bran

seeds: pumpkin, sunflower, flax
walnuts

fruits: apple, bananas, mandarins
dried fruits: raisins, apricots, cranberries

+ also if u're a bourgeois badass:
almonds, honey, tahini

Nutrition meaning

> milk *is* healthy. lactose undigestibility myth refers mostly to non-caucasian ethnic groups

> wheat bran vs oat bran
is like
more fibre vs lowered cholesterol (if anyone gives a damn)

> Why oatmeal and not cornflakes or barleyflakes?
Oatmeal has lower IG than cornflakes which are also more chemically manufactured. Barleyflakes has even lower IG, but they fall within fermentation in digestive system and it is not adviced to eat them more than 3x/week.

> oatmeal - carbohydrates with low IG = more energy for a longer period. proved on myself - in days I eat muesli I don't feel sleepy

Of course there are much more health benefits of eating muesli but I'm too lazy to type them down and I'm not feeling an expert in this area.
