Once I've had a mood to look for interesting blogs of people from my region. So I've fled by tens pages of them and the ones which took my attention I could count on the fingers of my hand. Why is that? No, I'm not a nerd. Sometimes I like to read texts completely unconnected with my interests, provided it's written in a interesting way. So what's the point?
Most of bloggers kill their blogs by introducing themselves* to the world in a way:
"hey, I'm an another person from the crowd, but yeah, I like [put here stuff that like 99% of the population: music, films, literature, photography, sports, dance, parties, psychology, animals (horses are leaders here), eating out] and umm...I dunno what to write about?"
* - yes, I like to believe it's the case of introducement, not the fact that people are *really* boring.
Mind I'm not saying that there's something wrong with music or literature. But do they create music/literature/etc? Or at least write reviews of them? 1/10 people does, the rest writes about their dull, consumptive lives. Who gives a damn what you ate yesterday or that you dream every night about that guy/gal, but he/she doesn't want to even look at you? Geez!
Ok, writing a journal is a productive activity and I agree that Internet is for everyone and it musn't be censored, but then I say: if you write only for yourself and have nothing to say to the world move to a conventional diary and keep it deep in a drawer.
